Kickball in the rain.

For FHE tonight we were supposed to play a grueling game of kickball, but the lame peps who are in charge decided it was too wet and rainy so we played a really pathetic get-to-know-you game.

On Sunday Sheena and I went our friend Chad's apartment and he made us and our friend Alex dinner. It was so good!!! So I made them a Skor cake for dessert (they really liked it), oh and Sheena helped crush the skor bars. :) It was such a fun night, we watched and sang to the Sound of Music and just hung out. I'm so grateful to have such great friends down here.

Hot Shots

Well the other day Sheena and I came home and realized there were several ugly little earwigs infront of our door, so after screaming for a minute we finally unlocked the door and Sheena ducked in, I however was stopped when I beheld a very disturbing sight - more earwigs falling from the door. I was hobbified! Haha - oops HORRIFIED. So we screamed some more and I climbed through the window and dashed to the pantry, pulled out the Hot Shot and sprayed those suckers down! I think we poisoned and slowly tortured a whole earwig family. :D It was a very stressful and horrible half an hour of spraying and killing and screaming. But we came out victorious - we think, there have not been any more sightings of the stupid little things since Saturday night, so we will see, and if not..... I will be buying the largest can of bug spray I can find.

Git 'er done!

Well, on Thursday night I went with two of my roommates and our friend to the Manti derby. It took us forever to find a seat, and when we finally did we all had to try and squeeze together - there was not much space. The derby was pretty fun though, we had to ask this guy to move like five times and people just kept standing infront of us, but I still had fun. The only thing I regret is not getting the hot mullet man's phone number! Oh well. ;)

Life in Ephraim

Well, I'm all settled into my new apartment here in Ephraim. My roomies are all really awesome and I couldn't be more blessed. Unfortunately I got sick on Monday, but I have medicine and am getting/feeling much better. Some guy I didn't know came and gave me a blessing and I thought that was really cool of him. :)
I am having lots of experiences down here - plunging toilets, meeting lots of new people (which is new for me). I am really happy, a little homesick, but so ready for a great year of school, friends and good times!

Yesterday Sheena and I went up to Meet the Team Day at Snowbird (sorry you couldn't come Deven and Kirstin), and I must say, it was incredible. I've been every year since RSL was "formed" but this year I got a picture with KYLE BECKERMAN. In case you can't tell, he's pretty much my favorite. He is awesome, very awesome. :) We tried to get a picture with Chris Wingert and Robbie Findley, but the stupid security type peps wouldn't let us. I was miffed. Oh well. There's always next year.

I just have to say that "You've Got Mail" is one of my (many) all-time favorite movies! Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan are so great together (in the movies at least). This is by far my favorite movie to quote - there are so many great ones! I think I could watch this movie almost everyday!
