This weekend was my grandma and grandpa's 50th wedding anniversary. It was pretty fun, we threw a fun party thing. Lots of old people came. My mom and I stayed in Richfield, and enjoyed what everyone else didn't get to see. My grandparents light-saber-fighting for example.

One last post for today. Kyle Beckerman #5, capitan of RSL and my favorite player - on the jumbo screen thinger they did a mini bio for him and when asked what he would be doing if he were not playing soccer, he replied that he would be an elementary school teacher! I thought that was really really cool and felt like sharing. His dreds are pretty much awesome.

Our second "Adventure" was last night. We went to IKEA and marveled at the adorable furniture and home decor, imagining how cute our (future) houses would look with all the awesome pieces that we loved. Although IKEA's chicken fingers lack in taste and "juiciness", their french fries are quite tasty. When we finally dragged ourselves out, we headed up to RIO TINTO (I think the name is incredibly dorky) for the first ReAL Salt Lake home match against Columbus Crew. It was a amazing game! They scored in after just a minute and fifty five seconds! That is fantastic! I was able to show Dani why soccer is so awesome and (correct me if I'm wrong) I think she is converted. RSL was VICTORIOUS! Even though the rain was pouring down upon the players by the end of the match, they won 4-1. The drive home was not as exciting. I am not the best night-driver, I have a bit of hard time seeing and add in the rain and my headache, I was quite frightened to be driving. Dani drove from Lehi - thus we are both still living. But all in all, it was a very fun night.

Recently Dani and I have had a couple different let's say "Adventures." A couple nights ago we went to Olive Garden and had a delicious dinner - their Ravioli is much better with Alfredo, but FYI they charge you $1.50 extra.

Well, I have been applying to a lot of different schools - well not THAT many - but anyway one of them was Johnson and Wales University in Denver, Colorado. I was pretty interested and thought it sounded like a lot of fun, but wasn't expecting anything. Well, I got a message last week asking if I had received my acceptance package and if I was aware of my $8000 four-year scholarship. No I was not! So on Saturday my acceptance letter finally got here, I still haven't seen anything about the scholarship though. So I was super excited for a few days thinking I may change my plans and go to Denver. However :(, last night I decided to look up tuition (I for some reason had not checked on that yet). Yeah, I won't be attending Johnson and Wales. Unless someone has $22,000 that they don't need and want to donate to me! I have a feeling that is in-state tuition also. So I won't be going unless I can get about $40,000 by April and I don't see that happening. So that has kind of put a damper on my week, but I guess that's an answer that I am not supposed to go to Denver right now. Oh well. :(

I decided to take some pictures of my apartment since I will be moving out next month. I like it here for the most part, and I will be sort of sad to leave, but I just have other plans. Right now I'm thinking of moving to St. George or possibly Ephraim. I'm not 100% sure yet. But we will just see.
