Well, I have been applying to a lot of different schools - well not THAT many - but anyway one of them was Johnson and Wales University in Denver, Colorado. I was pretty interested and thought it sounded like a lot of fun, but wasn't expecting anything. Well, I got a message last week asking if I had received my acceptance package and if I was aware of my $8000 four-year scholarship. No I was not! So on Saturday my acceptance letter finally got here, I still haven't seen anything about the scholarship though. So I was super excited for a few days thinking I may change my plans and go to Denver. However :(, last night I decided to look up tuition (I for some reason had not checked on that yet). Yeah, I won't be attending Johnson and Wales. Unless someone has $22,000 that they don't need and want to donate to me! I have a feeling that is in-state tuition also. So I won't be going unless I can get about $40,000 by April and I don't see that happening. So that has kind of put a damper on my week, but I guess that's an answer that I am not supposed to go to Denver right now. Oh well. :(

I decided to take some pictures of my apartment since I will be moving out next month. I like it here for the most part, and I will be sort of sad to leave, but I just have other plans. Right now I'm thinking of moving to St. George or possibly Ephraim. I'm not 100% sure yet. But we will just see.

This is the airport at Telluride that I said I was going to post a picture of. It is pretty crazy, but looked so beautiful.

I flew to Telluride, Colorado with my parents so my dad could take a look at the airport - which was on a huge cliff thing (that makes me sound stupid, but I don't know what else to call it) and it was so crazy. I got some pretty cool pictures while we were flying. I will hopefully get them posted in the next day or so. :)

Well, on Sunday my mom and I went up to Temple Square. I've been wanting to go for ages, and my Aunt and Uncle were going up with three of their cute little grandkids so we decided to go meet them there. It was fun, but there were so many people that it wasn't a super spiritual trip. I am looking forward to going up again soon and seeing the Joseph Smith movie - I love it so much!

My Little "Adventure" in SLC

For an early b-day present, Dev and Kirstin got me tickets to the Goo Goo Dolls concert tonight. Because of a few time issues Betsy and I had to just meet them up there. So we got to the Salt Palace and handed the guy our ticket and he told us we couldn't get in until 8:30 so we called Dev and Kirst and decided to go meet them at Market Street Grill. I'm sure he told me the address but it went right over my head. Betsy and I started walking and got to 5th west (which is a pretty scary part of town) and called to see where to go from there.....yeah that restaraunt is on west temple (1st west). I felt really stupid and my feet were killing me from wearing heels. So we started walking back and we were almost there when this hobo (who I'm sure is very nice) started singing to us, but we didn't have any change and told us we were beautiful. It was a little different - never been sung to by a homless man before. This story does end well, we finally made it to the food thingy, ate and got into the concert which was pretty good - nowhere near as good as Jimmy though.
