A Lot To Measure Up To.

I know father's day has come and gone already, but can I just say I love my pa SO much! He is such an AMAZING man!!! I love him so much! Whoever I end up marrying is going to be a pretty amazing man too because he will have a lot to measure up to. My dad is so versatile - he's a mechanic, a pilot, a chef, a priesthood holder, and a fix-it man. I want to be just like him! Except for maybe the mechanic part, I don't know about that one. But I want to go to Italy to take some cooking classes, and I would really like to get my pilots license but scares me a little. But anyway, I just love him and marvel at all his different skills DAILY. I will miss him SO much!!!

Never Say Never

Quoting the infamous Justin Bieber - you really should never say never. I pretty much never thought I would watch "Never Say Never" and I never thought I'd be much of a JB fan. Well.... as you may guess, I watched it. And I will probably go purchase it tomorrow. I am a SUCKER for movies, especially inspirational ones. Can I just say though, that some of his fans are 100% PSYCHOTIC!! The uncontrollable sobbing is a little much, and the marry me signs - that's okay for the younger girls, but when you're over 16, I think that's more than a little weird. Anyways, I just thought I would semi-embarrassingly admit, that I liked the Justin Bieber movie. The end.

Well, this is where I'll be living for the next 18 months. I've been called to serve in the California Carlsbad Mission, Spanish speaking. I leave September 28, which is the Wednesday after Skyler's wedding! My poor mother, she will be kind of an emotional wreck.

Just A LittLe UPdate.

I am almost ready to turn my papers in!!! I just have to Upload my picture and then I can submit my papers to my Bishop - so hopefully that will be today or tomorrow - and then have my interviews and my papers will be in! Yay!! Super excited. Seems a little crazy, but can't wait to see where I'm going to go!

Dear wallet, please give me a christmas miracle by magically filling full of cash, love Brindley.

Let's just say, when I get home from a trip it only takes about two weeks or so for me to decide I'm dying to go somewhere else. Let me also say, I don't know how many of you have seen the VW commercial where the guy just keeps thinking about the car that he wants, and there's a mini car growing on the side of his head...well, me, my dad, and Deven all have that problem. We get thinking about something, and it just keeps growing and growing until either we get it, or just make ourselves realize we can't have it, then we have non-buyers remorse. Well, that little thinger growing on my head right now is TAHITI. I really, really want to go there as a last trip before my mission. Oh my gosh Nemo's swimming out to sea!! That would just be so amazing, just look at the picture, how could you NOT want to go here right?!?!?!?!

Once Upon A Time... This girl named Brinlin FINALLY went to the UK.

Yay!!! I'm so happy I can finally cross the UK off of my trip list!!! It was fantastic and I loved it! I thought I might cry or hyperventilate a little, but I was surprisingly chill. :)
