I guess showers just aren't for everyone....

So at work today, this guy came in and was talking to me, telling me he's from New York and asking about some patches and jackets and such. Well when he went to go look at some shirts, Corey my coworker told us that he smelt really bad. This is not an uncommon occurrence to have smelly customers - I mean, they ARE bikers. Well, he came back over and was asking me to help him find a certain jacket, so I walked over to show them to him and he was standing sort of close to me when BAM. Holy CHONT he stunk!!! I don't mean to be rude, but I would pay that man to take a shower. I was trying with all my might to not gag infront of him, and I would try to hold my breath, or just turn my head to take a breath of non stinky air. Poor guy. I can't even explain the smell...smoke, coffee, and body junk is the best I can do. All I have to say is this: If you ever meet a biker, just be cautious, sometimes they are into hugging, or at least standing near you, and some of them just do not smell good, at all.

Happy Birthday Sheena

The 19th was one of my best friends and former roommate's birthday. Since I was working that day, and every other day, I made her some cupcakes on Thursday. And we decided to see if we could fit the whole cupcake in our mouths (not the first - or probably the last - time we've done this). And these are just some pictures from it.Is there something on my face???

She started laughing everytime she got it all in her mouth! I seriously thought she was going to choke, or throw up, or both.

First the sad news, then the good news.

Well, first there is some sad news - at least it's sad to me. Yesterday I came home to a crying father because he was having a really hard time getting up the courage to go shoot his dog. We have had Jax for a long time - at least ten years! He was really sick and old and we would have put him to sleep probably this week anyway, but he was so bad my dad didn't want to just leave him, so yeah, it was really sad, but at least he's out of his misery.
On a MUCH happier note, I now have a job! Two actually. I work full time at the Timpanogos Harley-Davidson Dealership, and I have a part-time temporary job at Victoria's Secret to save a little extra cash - I start there on Wednesday and I'm pretty excited. AND....
I'M GOING TO BE AN AUNT IN DECEMBER!!!!! I've known for ages and I can finally tell peps! I'm so stinking excited! I sort of think it's a girl....I guess we'll see in a few weeks though! I'm so happy for Deven and Kirstin, and I love them both!

Finally! No more bashing my head.

When I moved back home from Ephraim, I was pretty excited that I would be working that week. Or so I thought. I got up here, and my boss kept not returning my phone calls, and then after a long time of waiting he said that he just couldn't hire me right now. I was very annoyed and my stress level went way up - I didn't actually use the above kit, but I was almost to that point. I applied at about 10 different places and went into a ton of other stores to try to find a job. Nothing. Turns out no one wants to hire a 20 year old girl with absolutely no experience. Well FINALLY yesterday, I took in an application and the lady seemed pretty interested so I was feeling pretty good. On my way home, my faja called me and told me that on Friday I start work where I was originally supposed to! YAY! I have a job! I'm a little nervous because it is my first job, EVER. But I'm so excited to have something to do besides sit at my parents house and be bored and get fat. :)

Miss Grumpy Gills

Well, so far this summer absolutely nothing has worked out how I planned slash hoped it would. It's very annoying. My job that was supposed to be lined up...yeah, haven't started. Friends that wanted to chillax...haven't heard from them. And finally, vacations to be taken...canceled due to lack of money. I'm pretty bummed. Luckily there are still a few things to look forward to or I think I would just about be ready to shoot myself. I could really use a vacation, and money, and some friends that have nothing to do. Haha, oh well. It will only get better I'm sure!! And at least I'm relatively healthy, living rent free, and have a wonderful family! So there's still lots to be grateful for, just have to remind myself of that daily. :)

Ich Liebe meine Mutti!

I know everyone says that they have the best mom ever...but I really love my mom!! She is such an amazing woman! She is always helping us when we need it, she loves her church calling and does such a good job!, she puts everyone else first (I sometimes wish she would take more time for herself, but it makes her happy), and I RARELY hear her say mean things about other people. She is smart and beautiful and wonderful, and I love her SO much!!!!!
And I'm grateful to her mom - my AMAZING Grandma Mary Ann Brindley Walters - for having her! She is equally amazing and has taught me so much and I will continue to learn from her!!! I love you Grandma!
