A little bit about my life this week.

Well I have been at my new job for about two weeks, I'm starting my third. Let's just say, it's not quite as fun as Harley. It's crazy (but kind of makes sense I guess) how the customers aren't as nice. Some of them are SUPER nice, but overall, not as friendly.

Next, um, this may be the best movie ever. I highly recommend it, but be ready to use your eyemuffs for about 2 minutes maybe 2.5 minutes. It's a little steamy, not too too naughty, but you know what's going on.
Third, I am going to Europe in 10 days. TEN DAYS peps. I'm so excited and anxious, I don't know if I'm going to pee my panties, cry, or have a mini heart attack. Am I packed? Actually I can say I have about 6 things in my suitcase already - it's a Christmas Miracle. I'm the Queen of Procrastination.


And last, I love you all. That's it. And I love life, and the Gospel and I'm just happy and hope you are all too!!!

Yay for Happiness!

The past two or three weeks have been really quite awesome, and I feel very confident that things will continue to be awesome for a while!
The first awesome thing was California with Corey and Lauren. Who doesn't love a spontaneous trip to San Francisco. Although, I have to say that being up all night when we were in Vegas on the way home (my rockstar - I rarely drink them - made me very ill) was no bueno. But that is just a minor less-fun thing.

The second awesome thing was that I got a yob!!! I start at the Deseret Book in East Bay Provo. It doesn't pay near as well as my old job and I won't have a ton of hours, but at least it will help me pay for my car.
The third awesome thing is that in precisely 24 days I am going to be leaving on a jet plane. Where to? Europe. Finally. I am so excited I literally might cry while on the plane. Don't judge me. I get overly excited sometimes...

The fourth awesome thing is that I've decided (maybe) what I want to do school wise. I'm thinking after I finish my Business Associates of Science, that I might go into Dermatology. We'll see.

But since I don't know EXACTLY if that's what I want to do, and I don't know WHERE to do it and because of other feelings and decisions I've made....brings the fifth awesome thing. In about 2 or 3 months (4 TOPS) I will be turning in my mission papers. Pretty excited. Bishop meeting yesterday was very positive and I left feeling great!!

The sixth awesome thing is that on Wednesday I am going to do Baptisms for the Dead in the Oquirrh Mountain Temple with my momma, her momma, my sister-in-law Kirstin and hopefully my cousin Dani Banani. :)

The seventh awesome thing is that on Friday night I went to the Hypno Hick show in Payson with Corey and her familia. It was HIL-AR-IOUS.
And the eighth awesome thing, on Saturday I went to Arthur with Corey - so so so so so FUNNY! Possibly the funniest movie I've seen all year. Russell Brand is a dream.
The ninth awesome thing is that I got to see McKell and Peyton this week. I love that family.
AND the tenth awesome thing...... my dad turns 50 this month!

This weekend I went to CALIFORNIA (YAY!); Corey's friend Lauren was going to hangout with a guy she hearts and invited Corey who invited me! So, Thursday morning I got up at about 6:00, threw some things in a duffel bag, showered, blow-dried my hair, and by about 7:15ish Corey was in my driveway. First we had to drive to Sugarhouse and pick up Lauren - pretty much the whole reason we went on this trip-then we headed to California. Corey had me drive once we got to Salt Lake - Traffic is not her favorite even though she drives just fine in it :) - but I drove all the way to Winnemucca, NV. Which was A LOT of miles. In Wells when we stopped for gas, some skody tire-store man at the "service station" tried to convince us that Corey's tire was bad. Douche, he clearly just wanted money. Anyway, the drive was long but went pretty fast and was super fun!
Notice the snow outside Corey's window - this was in Truckee and the snow on the sides of the road was definitely at least 6 feet high.
Beach Day!!!
This guy was very entertaining. He was training for something...probably to be the next Karate Kid, but I think J Smith might be hard to follow...

Okay, so here is one of the funny stories. After the beach we decided to go get some dinner. We plugged in the gps, and decided to go to Chilis, it said one was only 12 miles away so we started heading over there. Well, the bih in the box LIED. We drove from the Beach that was a little south of San Fran to southern San Fran - just 50 miles or so. It only took us about two hours to get to the dang Chilis. I was flustered because I kept missing exits, and was trying to answer the phone to set up a job interview, and I was just glad to be at Chilis by the time we FINALLY got there. I'm grateful though, we got to drive on lots of sweet bridges and see some more of the city.

California?....Yeah, Okay!

Basically, I'm going to San Francisco tomorrow, well technically Brentwood but it's basically the same thing. Either way, I'm very very excited! And I'm excited to listen to conference! I think overall it might be a really good weekend!

Okay here's the deal, I am 21 years old and I have NEVER read the Book of Mormon front to back. SO, I am trying to now. The goal is to do it in 100 days AT LEAST (but I'm going to try to make it 50) starting Sunday! Wish me LUCK!!

Oh a Hunting we will GO

Well, so far the job hunting has been no bueno. I had an interview with one place but they never called me back. So I will just have to keep looking. I could probably get a job at subway, but I'd kind of rather not.....
So I found a job online that is for a temporary sheepherder. I would apply except that I am not able to recognize toxic plants and my horse-riding skills aren't very good anymore. Speaking of horses - sad news. Our horse Stockton that we've had FOREVER died the other night. We think a twisted bowel - all our dang horses die from that :(. But one of our good friends always says "As long as you can keep the deaths in the barnyard, life is good." And as sad as it is to lose pets, that statement is so true.
I wasn't serious about the sheepherding job. But that's basically the type of jobs that are available right now. Not having money sure stinks, but I feel so much happier!!!

Too bad I can't afford it Now.

Well. My latest want is a pet zebra. Random? A little. But I pet Marty - the zebra at the Flying J petting zoo in Scipio, and I am sold. I would LOVE a dang zebra. Unfortunately, I can't afford one....

You see, on Wednesday I may have said something about one of my awesome "co-managers." Okay, really I was like a high school-er and I WROTE it down. Not that bad really, just a little catty. Anyway, she definitely saw it and yelled at me and Corey and then stormed out. Needless to say, this did not go without punishment. I was kind of suspended from work for 5 days, but when I found out, I just quit. So Thursday was an extremely emotional day. EXTREMELY EMOTIONAL. Haha. But although I have no money now, and a car payment due every month for the next 4.5 years, I feel SO MUCH BETTER. Let's just say this certain "co-manager" or "toxic twin" as she's referred to at work, is no cupcake.

Now for the best part. I went to St. George with Corey on Friday to get away and go have a fun weekend FOR ONCE, and as we were eating lunch, our BFF Bryn called to fill us in on the drama we were missing. And what we missed is Dianna (our nicer co-manager) SLAPPING Trini (the annoying and horrible one of the co-managers) across the face so hard that her follow-through hit our GM's gut. Hahahahahahahaha. Although I'm glad that I won't possibly be charged for assault like Dianna, I SO wish I could have had the satisfaction of slapping Trini across the face. It had to have felt so good.
